Your finca wedding in Tenerife: a day in a banana plantation
A finca wedding in Tenerife is for couples who'd rather not get married in a function room that could be anywhere. You marry outdoors, among the banana plants, with the island all around you. The obvious question is whether somewhere this natural can run as smoothly as a hotel. It can, as long as someone who knows the place is coordinating it.
The finca we introduce here is in the south of the island, about ten minutes from Los Cristianos and Las Américas, where many guests will be staying anyway. The ceremony, dinner and party all take place on the same estate, each in its own spot. It suits couples who like a boho style, want something that feels genuinely Tenerife, and prefer nature to chandeliers. It has room for weddings of up to around 100 guests, and small weddings and elopements are possible too. If you'd rather have something greener and quieter, you'll also find our finca in the north further down.
Finca 01 · Ceremony
A ceremony on the finca: right in the middle of the banana plantation
You marry in the open air, surrounded by banana plants. A celebrant leads your ceremony in English. Chairs, arch and flowers are set up by our network of local professionals, and we arrange transport there for you and your guests.
Finca 01 · Welcome & dinner
Welcome drink and dinner: tapas or barbecue
After the ceremony you move to another part of the finca for the welcome drink. For dinner you choose between tapas, if you'd like it Spanish, or a barbecue buffet. We agree food and drinks with the catering company a finca needs. Drinks are normally planned for the whole day: a welcome drink, drinks with dinner, and drinks and cocktails at the party.
Finca 01 · Party
The party: a party room, DJ or band until 1 a.m.
There's a dedicated party room on the finca. DJ, band or both you choose, and we book them from our network. You hire the finca for nine hours, and the music runs until 1 a.m. at the latest.
Finca 02 · North
Prefer the green north? A Canarian finca on two levels
In the north of the island we also work with a traditional Canarian finca on two levels, with stone walls and open terraces looking out to the mountains. If you like a boho or rustic style, this is the place. It's quieter and greener than the south, with a character that feels a world away from the resort areas. It suits weddings of 30 to 50 guests, with a barbecue buffet and drinks included. Other fincas in the north and south of the island are available on request.
How we work
Finca wedding in Tenerife: how the planning works
It starts with a call where you tell us what you have in mind: roughly how many guests, tapas or barbecue, DJ or band. We come back with a concrete proposal and a running order, and if you're on the island beforehand, we'll walk the finca with you, and if you can't travel beforehand, we can show you the finca by video on request.
An outdoor venue needs more coordination than a hotel where everything sits under one roof. That's our job: we deal with the finca and the caterers, plan the set-up, seating, lighting and timings, arrange transport for everyone and agree with you in advance what happens if the weather turns. Everything we agree is confirmed in writing, so you're never left guessing.
A finca shows very quickly whether a day reflects the couple or a template. Decoration, flowers, ceremony music, photographer and celebrant come from our close network of local professionals, matched to your style, whether that's boho, simple or something else entirely.
What a finca wedding costs depends on your guest numbers, the catering and your budget, and we go through it in the first call, with no obligation. And if you realise you'd rather have a venue with rooms for everyone, we'll show you our hotels.

Finca weddings: common questions
How do our guests get to the finca?
The finca in the south is about ten minutes from Los Cristianos and Las Américas. We arrange transport through a partner company for you and your guests, to the finca and back to the hotels after the party, so nobody has to sort out hire cars or lifts.
What if the weather doesn't play along?
The south is the drier side of the island, but wind or rain can never be ruled out completely. In the winter months we keep a close eye on the forecast. Where the wedding can move into a room, we always propose a plan B, and where it can't, we talk with you about moving the date. That way nobody has to improvise on the day.
How late can we party?
You hire the finca for nine hours, and the DJ or band plays until 1 a.m. at the latest. If you want to carry on afterwards, Los Cristianos and Las Américas are about ten minutes away.
