Elopement locations in Tenerife
Just the two of you, or a handful of people and a place that does it justice. We know the spots in Tenerife where a small ceremony genuinely works, and we arrange everything with the hotel, club and restaurant, so you only ever deal with us. We've been planning weddings in Tenerife since 1995.
No obligation, no cost. We'll get back to you personally, by video call or phone.
Three locations · 2 to 20 people
Three elopement locations in Tenerife for 2 to 20 people
An elopement doesn't need a grand backdrop, but it does need the right one. Search for elopement locations in Tenerife and you'll find plenty of cliffs and empty beaches. What you won't always find is that ceremonies on public beaches aren't permitted. We'll show you places where it's allowed and where a small group genuinely feels right.
The three locations here are a small selection. All have sea views, and two are right by the water. They're designed for 2 to 20 people: just the two of you, or with witnesses, parents or your closest friends. After the ceremony you have dinner together, and if you fancy a night out afterwards, there are clubs nearby. How we plan elopements from first call to last toast is on our Elopement & Micro Weddings page.
01 · Las Américas
Five-star hotel in Las Américas: a ceremony by the sea, bubbly and dinner for a small group
The ceremony takes place right by the sea. Afterwards there's a glass of bubbly for the two of you and your guests, or you can book an hour of open bar. Dinner is in one of the five-star hotel's restaurants or at the beach club, which serves seafood. Either way you can book a three-course menu or order à la carte.

02 · Adeje
Hotel garden in Adeje: a ceremony among the greenery with sea views, dinner at the hotel
A favourite with couples who elope: the ceremony takes place in the garden of a hotel in Adeje, looking out to sea, for 2 to 20 people. Afterwards you dine in one of the hotel's restaurants, and you can choose from several menus. It is the same hotel as on our hotel weddings page, where you can read more about it.
03 · Las Américas
Beach club in Las Américas: a ceremony by the sea, photos on the sand
You marry with the sea in front of you, then head straight down to the beach for photos on the sand. Dinner is at the club's restaurant, and you can pre-order your menu. For 4 people or more, you choose starter, main course and dessert in advance: we send you the full menu and place the pre-order for you. It's open to the public, so you won't have it to yourselves, but you'll be right in the heart of Las Américas.

How we work
Elopement locations in Tenerife: how the planning works
An elopement comes together faster than a big wedding, but it doesn't organise itself. In the first call you tell us whether it's just the two of you or a few people more, how you picture the ceremony and what you'd like the evening to look like. We come back with the right location, a time, a running order and a restaurant.
You don't need to have seen any of these places beforehand. We deal with the hotel, the club and the restaurant, book your table and your celebrant, confirm everything in writing and make sure it's all ready when you arrive on the day. If you'd like to see a place beforehand, we can show it to you by video. In the winter months we keep a close eye on the forecast: where the ceremony can move into a room we have a plan B, and where it can't, we talk with you about moving the date.
Keeping it small doesn't mean keeping it less personal. Flowers, photographer and ceremony music come from our close network of local professionals. And if none of the three locations is right for you, we also know places by the sea where a ceremony is possible, and a yacht for a ceremony for two.
What an elopement costs depends on the location, the number of people and your budget, and we go through it in the first call, with no obligation. If you're thinking of more than 20 people, have a look at our beach clubs and hotels, which work well for small weddings of up to 30.
Good to know
Eloping in Tenerife: common questions
Can we get married on the beach?
Ceremonies aren't permitted on Tenerife's public beaches. Two of our elopement locations are right by the sea, you can head onto the sand for photos at the beach club, and we know places by the sea where a ceremony is possible.
Is an elopement in Tenerife legally binding?
The ceremony here is symbolic. The simplest route is to register your marriage at home beforehand, which is what nearly every couple does, and then celebrate the ceremony that means something to you in Tenerife.
Who leads the ceremony?
A celebrant from our network, in English. You decide the words and the order together beforehand.
Absolutely perfect service from Doris and the team! We had a small private ceremony with close family and friends which was just perfect! From my very first email requesting information to the very last email. Everything no matter how small or large was dealt with perfectly. Highly recommend ♥️♥️♥️

Which location is right for you?
Tell us whether it's just the two of you or a few more, and how you picture the day, even if a lot is still open. We'll get back to you personally, talk through by video call or phone which location fits, and you decide in your own time. We've been planning weddings in Tenerife since 1995 and know the places where a small ceremony is possible, and where it feels right.
