Most couples picture a beach wedding in Tenerife as a ceremony on the sand. In reality, ceremonies aren't permitted on the island's public beaches, and even where they might be, you'd be sharing the moment with sunbathers. A beach club wedding in Tenerife gives you what people actually want from a beach wedding: a ceremony right by the sea, a kitchen, bar and staff on site, and at some clubs the sand a few steps away for photos.
The three clubs here are a small selection of the beach clubs we work with, all in Las Américas, in the south of the island, where many of your guests will be staying anyway. Each suits a different kind of day: one for small groups of up to 30, one for a relaxed celebration with finger food, one for couples who want to keep dancing late. We know them first-hand and will tell you straight which one fits your numbers and your plans, and which one doesn't.

Beach club in Las Américas: a small wedding with sea views and photos on the sand
This beach club works for elopements from two people as well as weddings of up to 30 guests, because the space for the ceremony is small. The ceremony looks out over the sea, and afterwards you head straight down to the beach for photos on the sand. Dinner is in the club's own restaurant, which stays open to other guests, so it isn't a private dinner, but it's relaxed and right by the water. If you want to carry on afterwards, there are clubs nearby that stay open until 2, 3 or 4 in the morning.

Beach club in Las Américas: a relaxed wedding with finger food by the sea
For couples who want the opposite of formal. The club sits right on the sea with 180-degree views, and the ceremony takes place just beside it at the water's edge. Then it's into the club for a welcome drink and finger food with drinks included. No set menu, just an evening to mingle. From 30 guests you reserve half the club, and if you want to hire the whole club, that starts at 60 guests; we agree the exact numbers with you. There's no sandy beach here, so the photos are taken right at the water's edge.

Beach club in Las Américas: dinner with sea views and a late finish for 30 to 100 guests
Couples choose this beach club because the party can run late. It hosts weddings of 30 to 100 guests, has 180-degree sea views and sits centrally in Las Américas. You rent a private terrace for the whole wedding: ceremony, welcome drink, dinner and party all happen there, with nobody having to move on. Drinks are included in the menu. The party runs until 1 a.m., and longer by arrangement, as the club stays open later.
How we work
Beach club wedding in Tenerife: how the planning works
In our first call you tell us how many guests are coming and what kind of day you want: a sit-down menu or finger food and mingling, an early night or dancing until late. We then suggest the club that fits and walk you through how the day runs there, from the ceremony to last orders. If you're over before the wedding, we'll visit it with you, and if you can't travel beforehand, we can show you the club by video on request.
We deal with the club directly. We agree the ceremony time so the light is right, which area is reserved for you, how music and sound work and what happens if the wind picks up, and you get it all confirmed in writing. In the winter months we keep a close eye on the forecast: where the celebration can move indoors we always propose a plan B, and where it can't, we talk with you about moving the date. You won't be chasing a venue you've never met for answers.
The club brings the setting, the kitchen and the bar. What makes it your day comes on top: a celebrant who leads the ceremony in English, flowers, photographer and music from our close network of local professionals. We coordinate all of it with the club, so nothing is double-booked and nobody is left waiting on the day. We also arrange transport for you and your guests, to the club and back to the hotels at the end of the night, through a partner company.
What a beach club wedding costs depends on the club, your guest numbers and your budget, and we go through it in the first call, with no obligation. If none of the three suits you, because you want more guests or more privacy, we’ll say so and show you which venue fits better.

Beach club weddings: common questions
Can we get married on the beach itself?
Ceremonies aren't permitted on Tenerife's public beaches. At a beach club the ceremony is right by the sea, and at some clubs you can head down onto the sand for photos. If you'd like complete privacy, our elopement locations include places right by the sea where a ceremony is possible.
Will we have the beach club to ourselves?
It depends on the club. At one, the restaurant stays open to other guests during dinner. At the finger-food club, you reserve half the venue from 30 guests and can hire the whole club from 60. At the third club you rent a private terrace for the entire wedding. We'll tell you exactly how it works at your club before you book.
How late can we party?
That varies by club. On the private terrace at the third club the party runs until 1 a.m., and longer by arrangement, as the club stays open later. If you want to carry on afterwards, there are clubs nearby open until 2, 3 or 4 in the morning. We confirm the exact times for your club in our call.
